The car is dedicated to the great Italian director Roberto Rossellini, a real Ferrari enthusiast. Infact ,he ordered a lot of coachbuilt Ferraris. Among them everyone remember the famous 375 Mille Miglia, often with Ingrid Bergmann at the wheel. The coachwork wants to cover a sporting Ferrari chassis, raced during last GT championship. The form is a “barchetta”, elegant but, in the meanwhile, able to give prominence to the 720 CV twelve cylinders engine. The engine comes from the race version of the 550 Maranello. |
