Care Racing Development & esmotorsport Limited launched a car to commemorate the astounding victory of the Care Racing/Prodrive Ferrari 550 Maranello at the 2003 Le Mans 24 hour race. The aim has been to create a road going “Super” 550 LM Limited Edition as closely related to the Le Mans winning car as possible, while retaining the everyday usability expected from such a vehicle. The result has been a clearly recognisable relative of the race car, only significantly lighter and more powerful than the standard 550 road car; making the 550 LM not just a celebration vehicle, but also an extremely desirable one. |
